BIS CRS Registration
BIS CRS Registration is a mandatory certification process introduced by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for certain electronic and IT products to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with Indian standards. Under this scheme, manufacturers—whether domestic or foreign—must register their products before selling them in the Indian market. Products are tested in BIS-recognized laboratories, and upon compliance, a registration number is issued. It covers a wide range of products like mobile phones, LEDs, laptops, and power adapters, ensuring consumer safety.
