, and it actually touched on this idea. It explained that variability doesn’t always have to come from the system — sometimes it comes from the player. Your focus, energy, and expectations can completely change how the same thing feels. That really made sense to me. What I liked is that it didn’t overcomplicate things. It just showed that engagement isn’t fixed, it shifts naturally.
